Wedding Cakes

Of course, we are still best known for our Wedding Cakes!! Whether your inspirations are bold, unique and extravagant, or simple and more refined, Skiff’s Cakes caters to both style and budget. As always, the consultation and tasting are complimentary! (We never pass on an opportunity to celebrate an engagement!

We only require a $100.00 deposit (non refundable*) to include your wedding reception on our calendar. While we try to honor a first come/first considered method for scheduling any event, those receptions that are further away from our physical location are advised to contact us sooner, rather than later, for a consultation (no time is too soon!). * Deposit of $100. is required in order to reserve date and time of delivery. While it will apply to the final balance, it cannot be reused for credit on any future cake or dessert.

FAQ

How early do I need to place my order?

We request a week's notice for any cakes that are scheduled to be picked up on the weekend. (Wedding and shaped cakes may require more notice).
Do you use fondant on your cakes?
While fondant can be an invaluable decorative element, we try to limit its use to enhance an otherwise iced cake (vanilla butter cream or whipped cream) whenever possible. Our goal is to create a cake that will entice your eyes and your taste buds, at the same time!!

Can I place an order on your website?

Yes. Simply fill out the Contact form (where you can also upload photos). However, every web order must be confirmed in person, or by telephone with a Skiff's Cakes staff member or we will not be able to process your order.
Do you have a menu?
Yes! Simply visit the Wedding page, where you can download a free pdf of our Wedding cake menu. (Pleas note the Wedding cake menu items is NOT for online orders.

What about prices? How do I request a price quote?

With the exception of the Order Online items, Skiff's does not publish nor send price quotes via email. Every cake is unique and created with your taste in mind. For all pricing information either call us at 805-582-4882 or visit our location in Simi Valley, California.
